• The standard measurement pressure is 1.47 ± 0.02 kPa in accordance with the Standards.
• Two other pressures can be selected by changing the weight of the manostats (0.74 ± 0.01 kPa and 2.20 ± 0.03 kPa).
• Choice of three rotameter tubes to analyze a wide range of products.
• Measuring ranges (rotameter tubes):
          - 300 - 3,000 ml / min
          - 50 - 500 ml / min
          - 15 - 150 ml / min
• Measuring head for surface roughness tests
• Measuring head (porosity head) for air permeability tests
• Compressor included in delivery
• Glass plate
• Default Electrical Connection: 230 V, 50 Hz
• Weight and dimensions (with packaging): 500 x 500 x 500 mm (W x L x H) / 10 Kg

The device possesses 3 rotameter tubes with several manostat weights to adjust the pressure according to the standard. The measuring head is manually placed on the sample. The planar glass plate for surface roughness tests in included in delivery. So is the porosity head for air permeability test. To flatten the sample a planar weight may optionally be ordered.

Test Description:

Surface roughness:
A sample is placed on the planar glass plate after starting the device. If needed, it can be flattened by a planar weight. The roughness head is placed carefully onto the sample. The pressure is controlled by the rotating manostat weight. Values are indicated at the manometer tubes. Attention should be paid to the displayed value: only values within 20- 80 % are valid.

Air permeability:
The operator inserts the porosity head after turning on the compressor. The porosity head is clamped manually until the end of the test. By manual switching, the range between the individual rotameter tubes can be chosen.
