Wet Shear Test for Corrugated

The wet shear automatic instrument is a variation of the TAPPI T 842 standard. The standard allows you to obtain the time of shear, in seconds, of the glue in a sample of corrugated board submerged in water with a certain constant load applied (Wet Shear Adhesion Test). A weight of 1 or 2 kilos is applied depending on the strength of the board. It is an extremely important test in fresh fruit packaging, for example banana boxes, were the humidity and low temperature are very demanding. Another example is ice cream and frozen fish packaging that are going to be stored at low temperatures.

• Possibility to visualize the tests graphically (diagrams).
